Apartment Life
Apartment Life (AL) started out of FBC Euless, Texas ten years ago as an effort to consistently impact apartment communities. It has evolved to where AL is a private, non-profit, though it is still faith based. The primary impact is in middle and upper income communities.
Basically, we negotiate with apartment communities to place a CARES Team in that community. We have three teams currently serving in apartment communities across the area. Our newest CARES Team are Abi and Matthew Elrod. They are now serving at Westchester Square. These teams are living life and building relationships among the residents and management. More properties are ready to go and we are seeking additional teams. A CARES Team can be a married couple or two singles of the same gender. They make a commitment to serve for two years in a particular apartment community. They are responsible for serving in the areas of welcome, connect, care and renewal. They must have a passion for people… doing life with them, living out their faith and building relationships.
