Literacy

 

English as a Second Language As our population becomes more ethnically diverse, we must be able to assist them in learning how to read, write and speak English better.

 

Tutoring Children and Youth. This is primarily for English speaking children and youth who need homework assistance as well as improved reading and writing skills.

 

Adult Reading and Writing. There are English speaking adults in our area who also need assistance in learning how to read and write English better.

In all literacy areas, volunteers are trained to use trusted techniques in helping others learn how to read, write and speak English better as well as learn more about the love of God for them.
