Powerplant, sponsored through the North American Mission Board, provides meaningful missions opportunities for students in a church planting setting. Our goal is to:  1) expose students to the church planting environment in North America; and 2) provide manpower and energy to church planters for ministry opportunities.

Each day the participants receive training in evangelism and church planting before going to assigned ministry locations.

This year's volunteer teams worked through extremely hot temperatures doing a variety of things such as car washes, kids clubs, prayerwalking, and servant ministries.

The Powerplant process has yielded many decisions for Christ and several continuing partnerships.  We are praying that God will not only help the Upstate through the work of the students, but also that God will raise up a new generation of church planters.
