Disaster Relief

The Association has a Flood Relief Unit.  We work in cooperation with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and American Red Cross when responding to a disaster situation.  Volunteers must be trained to work with a unit.  Training is available through GBA, as well as SCBC.  Our teams have been involved in numerous disaster response situations both domestically and internationally.

We are also involved on a local level with VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) to better prepare our own churches and agencies in the event of a local disaster.

241 Flood Buckets were delivered from the GBA.
